Centrally located in Rajwada, it is thronged with visitors from within and outside India. Innumerable devotees come here to seek spiritual knowledge, bliss and inner peace at this holy shrine. Indeed, one of the biggest celebrations in Indore is the Guru Nanak Prakash Utsav, which usually starts with the devotional Nagar kirtan in Imli Sahib Gurudwara in Rajwada, Indore. All the members of the local Sikh community walk the streets singing psalms and playing various musical instruments for several kilometres before ending at the Imli Sahib gurudwara.

Gurudwara Charan Betma Sahib (Ratlam Road, Betma)- This is another well known gurudwara in Indore. It is located in a small village called Betma. Betma is an old town in Malwa, and a nagar panchayat in the Indore district, M.P.

The Betma Sahib gurudwara is noted for its historical significance as it was thought to be the place where Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited during his ascetic southern tour, or second “Udasi” (meaning tour). These missionary travels were part of his spiritual pilgrimages to spread the divine message realized by him.
