Hand Block Printing:

It is among the most important crafts of Indore. The most important thing in this craft is that the natural colors do not fade easily as they spread throughout the fabric. This gives the fabric beautiful & charming look.

Jute Crafts

As we know, among textile fibers, besides cotton, Jute is the cheapest and most important of all. Besides sarees, city also deals with dress materials, duppattas, bed sheets etc made of batik. The process includes applying of molten wax on the fabric and then these are dyed in cold dyes.

Tie and Dye

Tie and dye is again a very popular art form of Indore. The process is known as Bandhani or Bandhej which can be found on sarees, suits, duppattas and they look absolutely beautiful.
